# Disclosures and privacy

## Independent resource

This website is an independent regional resource and matching service. We are not a CPA firm or law firm. Consultations are provided directly by independent, verified licensed professionals.

Canton Tax Resolution does not prepare tax returns, does not give individualized tax or legal advice, and does not represent anyone before the IRS, the State of Ohio, the City of Canton or Stark County. It is not affiliated with any government agency. Professionals callers are matched with are independent and are responsible for their own services and fees.

## Circular 230 notice

Any tax advice contained on this website is not intended or written to be used, and cannot be used, for the purpose of avoiding tax-related penalties under the Internal Revenue Code.

## Calls and recording

Calls may be recorded and monitored for quality assurance and qualification purposes. By calling or submitting your information, you consent to receive calls or messages regarding your inquiry.

This service is phone-only at (330) 457-6198. It does not use web forms and does not send text messages.

## Educational content

Pages explain public rules in plain English and cite official sources with the date each was read. Rules change; the official source controls. No outcome is promised for any situation.

## Privacy

- This site never asks for a Social Security number, date of birth, or bank details — not on the page and not on the intake call.
- This site uses Google Tag Manager with Google Analytics 4, and Cloudflare Web Analytics, to count page views and taps on the phone buttons so it can learn which pages help. Analytics load on every page view. Nothing is sold and no form data is collected.
- To opt out, use "Opt out of analytics" at the bottom of any page. It sets Google Consent Mode to denied in this browser; the same button turns analytics back on. Browser privacy settings and ad blockers also work.
- The optional browser voice assistant loads only when its button is pressed. It uses the microphone and is provided by Telnyx; its use is subject to the same call-recording notice.
- Photos and fonts are served from this site; outbound links go to official sources.
